Being sustainable is not just about “green” products, but about process and innovation in a global economy. How can this whole systems business strategy help the licensing community increase their leadership role both internally and externally? We’ll examine some of the benefits of applying a triple bottom line (people, planet, profit) to both licensee and licensor, including, retailer leadership, brand enhancement, risk mitigation, employee retention, attraction and productivity, competitive advantage, stakeholder engagement, consumer desires, a decreased ecological footprint and most of all cost savings.

Andrea Green has spent 20+ years in the licensing arena wearing the hats of licensee, licensor and now consultant. She is currently connecting traditional consumer products brand holders & manufacturers with short & long term sustainable business strategies, and consumers with better product, through her company Globally Green, a Connected Company. Her expertise has been combined with an education in Sustainable Business Management from the Presidio Graduate School, having completed their inaugural executive graduate program in late 2008. Andrea is a long time LIMA member and a passionate advocate for the licensing industry. |
