This panel discussion will provide participants with a snapshot of music licensing in today’s market. Topics that will be discussed during the session include: current trends and future forecast for music licensing; as well as music licensing from the perspective of the licensor, licensing agent, and the retailer. The panel will take questions from the audience to close the session.

STEVE GLASENK, Vice President, Live Nation Merchandise

Steve began his Music Licensing career in 1993 at Sony Signatures. He has remained there through its many incarnations at what is today Live Nation Entertainment Merchandise.  During his tenure Steve has managed projects as diverse as The World Cup 1988 in France to Woodstock’s recent 40th Anniversary. He continues to manage many legacy musical artists licensing rights including his continuous overall stewardship of the Beatles North American licensing program since 1995.

Apple Corps is the holding company for The Beatles.

STACY DOBKINS,  VP Marketing & Licensing, Vandor LLC

Stacey oversees all aspects of entertainment licensing for Vandor, a leading designer and marketer of consumer goods and a licensee of music industry icons including Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, and AC/DC. She is responsible for overall product development, marketing and licensing at the company, which includes the management of existing licenses and the acquisition of new properties. Stacey brought her background in design and advertising to Vandor in 1998, taking on various roles, such as Creative Director and VP of Product Development, prior to becoming Vandor’s Vice President of Licensing and Marketing.
