ANGELA FARRUGIA, Founder, The Licensing Company (TLC)

Ms. Farrugia also currently manages both the Group and its North American office.  Since its formation in 1996, TLC has become recognized as one of the world’s leading brand extension agencies on an international level.  Prior to setting up TLC, she was group MD of Copyright Promotions, Ltd., an entertainment licensing company based in London.

KATE DWYER, Group Director, Worldwide Licensing Division, The Coca-Cola Company

Ms. Dwyer is responsible for developing brand extensions for Coca-Cola and 13 other billion dollar brands.  She has nearly 10 years of experience in the licensing industry and nearly 20 years of experience in marketing.  Prior to Coca-Cola, Kate worked at Federated Department Stores and Mastermind Marketing, a nationally recognized sales promotion and advertising agency.

PAUL FLETT, Senior VP, Licensing, Skechers, USA Inc.

Paul Flett is a seasoned executive with 25 years of experience in Media, Licensing, Consumer Marketing and Sales based in the USA and Europe.  He currently has responsibility for licensing the Skechers brand to third parties woldwide.  Formerly, he was at MGM Studios as Senior VP of Worldwide Marketing and Promotions.

GARY KRAKOWER, Senior VP, Consumer Products and Live Events, HIT Entertainment, North America.

Mr. Krakower has close to 20 years experience in global brand licensing.  In his current role, he oversees all US consumer products, attractions, stage shows and live events for the company’s portfolio of classic preschool brands.  Prior to joining HIT, he served as VP of International Licensing and Merchandising for 20th Century Fox.

TONY NEWMAN, Founder, Newman International Licensing

Tony Newman founded Newman International Licensing over 20 years ago. Newman’s formative years were spent focusing on entertainment licensing in both pre-school television properties and blockbuster movie properties.  This saw the launch of many favorite pre-school brands into the New Zealand market including, Sesame Street, Thomas the Tank Engine, Bob the Builder and Banana’s in Pyjamas to name a few.
